For this challenge, I used their free gift when I spent $60 or more "Pieces of Cake" die set. It also came with a candle. I ran the cake die through my Big Kick machine. It cut up the card stock in 3 pieces. I chose to use this to my advantage and create 4 cards for the color combination. After I adhered the icing and cake pieces on to my notecards, I decided to use the candle die from the Pieces of Cake die set to create candle die cuts.
The greeting for my card came from the stamp set Sugar Coated Sentiments from My Favorite Things Stamps. I decided to heat emboss the greeting with white embossing powder from Ranger. For the inside of the card, I left it blank. But I did add a piece of white cardstock to handwrite my message later on.
Next challenge is to create a card from the Summer School Series that just started today. This series will run for one week. Each day the company releases a video of basic card making tips. Today they went over how to create a visual triangle. This will be fun.
